    Tue 02 Feb 2021
On Tuesday 2nd February, Mrs Marr declared a snow afternoon. After a morning of remote learning fun, the children in every class were set a challenge by their teachers. All of the challenges involved getting outside to enjoy plenty of fresh air and of course the snow. One of the challenges enjoyed by every class was to create a snow sculpture and email a photograph of it in to the class teachers. Mrs Ball designed a snow sculpture fun certificate to be awarded for the sculpture in each class judged as the teacher's favourite. Have a look at the fun we all had here and on your child's class website page.
  • Children's Mental Health Week

    Mon 01 Feb 2021

This week the children in school and at home have been talking about 'Children's Mental Health Week.'

This year's theme is 'Express Yourself' and is focused on getting children and adults to find creative ways to share their thoughts, feelings and emotions through activities like music, art, dance or photography.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron of charity Place2Be, got this week's campaign up and running with a message of support encouraging all of us to share and discuss how we feel, especially during this difficult time.

You can watch her message on BBC Newsround:

Everyone looked amazing - even our Reception and Year 1 children who joined in when they were back in school.
  • Northern Super Fundraising Madness!

    Thu 10 Dec 2020
Our Northern community is an overwhelmingly caring place to be and today just proved that. Today the whole school community came together to raise money to support one of our families. Not only did lots of activities take place in school to raise money but children also took it upon themselves to raise money at home too. In total we managed to raise over £2 000. I am lost for words - sensational!
