This show was a fantastic treat for all our children and they sang songs, made us laugh and made the classic story of Sleeping Beauty come to life in our hall. Hope you all enjoyed it children as the teachers certainly did!

There was also a visit from the big man himself - Father Christmas who gave goodies out to all the children. May we say a massive thank you to those parents brought their children along. It was very much appreciated!

  • A visit from The Bethany Project

Mon 25 Nov 2019 Mrs Ewens

Today we were so lucky at Northern as The Bethany Project came to our school.  All of the children and their teachers were extremely inspirational and we were honoured that they felt they could share their life stories with us.

They performed several songs which really impressed all the children in our school.  They also showed us how they carry water when they live in the villages of Tanzania.  Girls as young as seven carry containers of water containing 10 litres and the older children and ladies can carry up to 30 litres on their heads.  It made us all really think about how lucky we are to have access to fresh running water at all times.

Thank you for taking the time to visit us at Northern.
